I have been interested in glam rock for while. Especially after when I watched a movie called “Velvet Goldmine“. Whole fashion in the movie is very quirky but wild and sexy at the same time. Probably David Bowie is the person who we will think of when it comes to glam rock era. I like to do some more research and perhaps I might get some inspiration and come up with great outfits! I have seen several fashion shows that are inspired by glam rock and they are just fabulous. Glam rock has been twisted with modern and more wearable look. Check out the video below! =)

I have been loving clutches!! and for one of my project that I had to do for uni was to create a clutch. These are my versions of what I like to hold when I need to carry something little bit fancy! Fabrics that I have been thought for these clutches are leather and satin. A bit of rock ‘n’ roll.

Creating patterns are so much fun. I love using bright colours and just simple shapes into a complex image.
I have been learning some new skills on illustrator and it is the most awesome application ever!
Used to love using photoshop and now I just want to learn more and more to expand my skills on illustrator.
It’s not so hard as I thought…maybe because I am only learning some basics at the moment..but it still can do
some really cool stuff with it. Like this pattern I came up with. I think the colour made it really 70s’ looking.

A real life catwalk!!! I was so excited when I went to a Sydney fashion weekend. It was more sort of low key fashion show but I had so much fun. I got to see one of my favourite designer Alex Perry’s clothes on the show which was such a great experince. I hope to see more catwalks in the future.

One day just out of curiousity, I went to Bradon to check some shops out and yes I found the most funky shops in Canberra. One of the shop called Unit, they sell from clothing to all sorts of stuff for the household. Also shops around those area, they all have cool stuff! So check it out if you are interested in funky objects check all the shops out!
